All I have I owe to God

Etherington_Creek_Provincial_Recreation_Area,_Alberta,_Canada_-_creek_banks
All that I have, I owe to God:
My teeth, my eyes, my feet.
He raises me from every fall;
He nourishes me with fruit and wheat.

Peace and freedom are given by Him.
He strengthens me with a prayer!
His love and support for us never cease!
All that I have, I have by His care.

How rich we are

How rich we are;
How happy we could be;
Our friendship could be as a sparkling star.
Why do we refuse to see?

We have legs and hands, ears and eyes as well…
Isn’t it enough to form a world-wide community;
Isn’t it enough to help those who fell?
Power is in our unity.

All the world’s gold
Isn’t worth a child’s wound or cry.
Peace! How many times we were told!
But tomorrow may be to late to try.

Students

Students work hard,
But they work with hope
And in order not to be caught off guard.
As many assignments as given by profs, they cope.

However difficult, students keep on going
Because they know that their reward is awaiting –
For now, they have to be rowing.
God knows what good things in the future they will be contemplating!

People tend to put off important things

Moraine_Creek_-_panoramio_(1)
People tend to put off important things,
But be wise to do them at once, as if you had wings.
Then, maybe, God will bless you
Because He helps those who help themselves – it’s true.

Have you ever seen a sunrise

20161106_073640
Have you ever seen a sunrise
Or the azure above
Which is often called just skies?
Have you ever been in love?

Or haven’t you got time enough?
Vanity of vanities, too much of it
And the sea of life is so rough.
Bustle can so badly hit…

But I don’t say forget all, throw away.
Just let love inside, right into your heart.
Mind your way.

This could be a song

Open your heart.
That’s exactly what you need.
And let us be smart.
Sharpen your soul’s trusty reed –
Open your heart.

Just let some love inside
And it will live and succeed
Flowering with happiness by side.
It’ll be your shield in court, it’ll plead.

Love does not beg, but gives;
Has noting, but is rich;
A real love never dies, but lives.
Love is the treasure available for each.

According to the abundance of the grief of my heart

sulphur_mountain_summit_-_banff_-_alberta_-_canada_-_04
According to the abundance of the grief of my heart,
O Lord, You helped me.
Your encouragements make my worries depart;
You show me the forest and make me distinguish a tree.

Your encouragements console my soul;
Your Grace fills my bowl;
You are close in distress;
You keep at bay any stress.

Educate yourself

The_Mountain_Exhaled_edit

A lot of things happen around
And it is not enough to learn what you are told at school.
New things, new technologies abound
And it takes an effort to stay cool.

Have desire to learn new things
To be able to choose what is good,
To be able to distinguish good stuff from unhealthy springs.
Be kind, smart, and learn to move ahead from where you stood.
