You’re at the fire-place
And do not feel cold,
And you’ve got some stores just in case,
But don’t be bold.
Everything is in God’s power.
Do you remember paupers near your house?
They aren’t afraid of showers,
They believe though they’ve got as much as a mouse.
All you have is like a passing dream;
Even some paupers used to be rich.
Life is faster than a mountain stream –
While you can, help those who can’t do a hitch.
